Try RuneLite through ChromeOS Linux only when Linux is enabled, the account is not managed, and you accept a more fragile desktop route. The Chromebook name alone does not answer any of those questions. If Google Play or Linux is blocked, or the account is managed, stop before buying around RuneLite.
The managed account and model determine which client paths are actually available. School or work policy can disable Play, Linux, or external accounts before you shop.
