PoE second monitor trade setup: official site first, tools second
A second screen can keep the official trade site, build notes, and price references visible without covering the game. The setup becomes risky when a convenience tool asks for a session cookie, automates several actions, or reads information the client does not normally expose.
Put the game on the primary display and the official Path of Exile trade site on the second. Start with bookmarks and saved searches. Add a tool only when its authentication is documented and its job stays read-only. Never share POESESSID or accept a feature that sends several gameplay inputs from one action.
The official trade site is the default because it is easier to audit and safer to recover. Walk away from any tool that asks for session cookies or sends gameplay inputs for you.

No. Borderless mode, browser tabs, and saved searches can handle the same workflow on one display. A second screen mainly reduces window covering.
Can a tool price items automatically?
A read-only search can be useful, but avoid anything that reads hidden client data, sends multiple game actions, or exceeds GGG's API policy.
